bug: gdal required

Describe the bug
When installing and running sb as instructed in the docs, I get the error message that gdal is required.

To Reproduce
Install and run as shown in docs.

Expected behavior
Runs.

• OS: Mac OS 15.7.7

You have a solution? (optional)
Yes, I just needed to install/add gdal to the environment (it exists on conda).

Additional context
Probably a note in the install docs would be enough to fix this.

Thank you for raising the issue. I tested this with a fresh conda env using mamba and running the Scheveningen demo from the docs, I am not able to reproduce this error message on Mac OS 26.5.2. I also do not have a global gdal installation. Would you be able to give some more context?

Sure, I will try a fresh install when I have time and recreate the exact error message. Sorry, it got lost in the meanwhile and now it's already fixed.
