Editor input fields repeatedly lose focus while typing

Current Behavior

In the FlutterFlow editor, multiple text input fields unexpectedly lose focus while I am typing.

This happens when renaming widgets such as Containers, but also in other fields across the editor. After typing approximately two characters, the field loses focus, so I have to click it again and continue typing only a few characters at a time.

This makes editing extremely slow and frustrating.

Expected Behavior

I should be able to type the full widget name or text continuously without the input field losing focus.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a project in the FlutterFlow web editor.
2. Select a widget, such as a Container, in the Widget Tree.
3. Click the widget name field to rename it.
4. Start typing a new name continuously.
5. After approximately two characters, the input field loses focus.
6. Click the field again and continue typing.
7. The same focus loss happens repeatedly.

The issue also occurs in other text input fields across the FlutterFlow editor.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce it on my end.

It may be related to the browser you're using to access FlutterFlow. If you're using the web version, we recommend using Chrome for the best experience.

I’ve tested the issue in several environments:

• FlutterFlow desktop app: no issue
• Safari: no issue
• Brave: the issue still occurs repeatedly

In Brave, input fields lose focus while I’m typing, including when renaming widgets such as Containers. I have also tested with Brave Shields disabled, cleared the cache, and tried another browser profile, but the issue persists.

I understand that Chrome is recommended, but Brave is a Chromium-based browser and is commonly used by developers, so I believe it would still be valuable to investigate this compatibility issue rather than considering switching browsers as the final solution.

I can provide a screen recording, console logs, or additional diagnostic information if needed.

Unfortunately, I'm also experiencing the same issue in Chrome, so it doesn't seem to be limited to Brave. I hope this additional information helps narrow down the cause.
