Push Notifications deployment fails with “Unknown error”

Can we access your project?

• I give permission for members of the FlutterFlow team to access and test my project for the sole purpose of investigating this issue.

Current Behavior

When I go to App Settings > Push Notifications and click Deploy, the deployment runs for several minutes and then fails with:

“Deployment Failed — Unknown error. Please contact support@flutterflow.io.”

Firebase is connected and the project is on the Blaze plan. The required IAM roles are assigned to firebase@flutterflow.io, including Editor, Cloud Functions Admin, and Service Account User.

I also successfully deployed a test Node.js Cloud Run function in us-central1, confirming that billing and Google Cloud function deployment are working. However, no failed build appears in Cloud Build History when FlutterFlow’s push notification deployment fails.

Expected Behavior

The Push Notifications deployment should complete successfully and show a Deployed status so scheduled notifications can be configured in FlutterFlow.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the FlutterFlow project.
2. Go to App Settings > Push Notifications.
3. Enable Push Notifications.
4. Click Deploy.
5. Wait several minutes.
6. Observe the message: “Deployment Failed — Unknown error. Please contact support@flutterflow.io.”

Additional setup:

• Firebase project is connected.
• Firebase billing plan is Blaze.
• firebase@flutterflow.io has Editor, Cloud Functions Admin, and Service Account User roles.
• A test Node.js function deployed successfully in us-central1.
• No failed build appears in Google Cloud Build History.

Thanks for your report, So sorry you are experiencing this issue. I was not able to reproduce this on a blank project, but it is replicable on yours. That's why I'm suspecting this is a project-specific issue and our support team is our best chance to get it solved. Do you mind following up with them?
