installation on windows or WSL

i'm currently running the Open-Piv (gui) on WSL2 but are there any other advantages/disadvantages from running it this way, instead of on the normal windows OS?

No advantages. it runs beautifully in any Jupyter notebook or Python script mode.

i sadly had some issues still with installing, so i switched now to PIVlab (on matlab from optoluition) but would like to try again.

do you maybe have a (new) installation manual?

I do not use GUI so openpiv python is just

pip install openpiv
