HDRP baked lighting breaks and gives an index out of range error Unity 6000.0.41f1

Every time I bake the lights, it gives a bunch of index out of range errors. The entire scene is grayed out and nothing shows

I ran into this issue. I added this check to stop it from erroring out...

if (lightmapIndex >= LightmapSettings.lightmaps.Length)
{
  enableLightmaps = false;
}
else
{
  var lightmapData = LightmapSettings.lightmaps[lightmapIndex];
  materialPropertyBlock.SetTexture("unity_Lightmap", lightmapData.lightmapColor);
  materialPropertyBlock.SetVector("unity_LightmapST", lightmapScaleOffset);
}

Baking the lighting again made things start working. I don't understand why yet, but that got things working for me 😉
