How can some excellent plugins be converted into APIs for external use? Examples include understand-anything and codegraph.

Not sure what you want ? I had some initial experiments with plugins that did not provide real value. Long term they did not help. The only plugin that is now bundled but not installed is one that allows for syncing repos back and fourth from server running manager and your client machine. Also allows for easy attach mechanism so you can use Opencode TUI on your client and interact with the repo running inside manager.
