Wrapper source/build provenance for Git for Windows 2.54.0.windows.1

Hello Git for Windows maintainers,

Could you identify the exact source revision and relevant build configuration used to produce the cmd/git.exe wrapper distributed in the 64-bit Git for Windows 2.54.0.windows.1 release?

The https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/releases/tag/v2.54.0.windows.1 links to Git source commit 2b8a3ab140826ac423c2845ef81d4c6ac4f7bf3c, but I have not established the corresponding wrapper-component revision in git-for-windows/build-extra. If that is not the correct source repository, please point me to the appropriate one.

A release-specific build record, manifest or other vendor-controlled reference linking the distributed wrapper to its source revision and build configuration would be helpful.

The purpose is a static comparison of wrapper initialization and launch behavior with direct payload invocation. I’m seeking provenance information, not certification that those invocation methods are equivalent.

You can look through the git-artifacts workflow runs to see how the cmd\git.exe is built. Those runs are also linked to the PRs in git-for-windows/git where /git-artifacts built official installers (that search unfortunately yields also imprecise matches, a limitation in GitHub's Search API).
