Rename or clarify "Blacklist virtual components" checkbox

Components in KiCad marked as "Exclude from BOM" are exported to the Interactive HTML BOM anyway, and I haven't found a way to disable this.
Workarounds are to set the component as "DNP" or change type of the component to "Virtual" and blacklist all virtual components, but that's not always ideal.

This is already implemented.

Verify that your components are marked as exclude from BOM in pcb editor. If you did the change only in schematic ibom will not pick it up, update pcb from schematic and it should work.

If you still see the issue share you kicad version.

I might have misunderstood "Blacklist virtual components" checkbox, when this option is enabled, both components marked "Exclude from BOM" and components of type "Unspecified" are blacklisted ("Unspecified" was "Virtual" in older versions of KiCad).
So is it correct that components marked to be excluded from BOM are considered as "Virtual" components, or is this a bug?
In my opinion, "Unspecified" components can be purely mechanical, like nuts, standoffs, etc. and user might want them to be exported to HTML BOM unlike components marked "Exclude from BOM".
That said, my findings solve my current problem so this issue can be closed, but I still think that user should be able to blacklist "Unspecified" and marked "Exclude from BOM" components separately.

And you can. "Unspecified" type is separate from "exlucde from BOM". Unspecified components are not considered to be virtual.
Meaning of "virtual" has morphed in kicad over the years but now the semantics are propely split between component type (which has no bearing on bom) and other flags (which ibom takes into account).
Wording in ibom stayed the same "virtual" for backwards compatibility and probably needs clarification for new users. But logic is already jsut as you expect it.

Thank you for the clarification, as a long-time KiCad user I still have the word "Virtual" connected with the new "Unspecified" so that's what confused me.
I think this option should be renamed as there are no "Virtual components" in Kicad anymore and it would cause unnecessary confusion for new users of ibom.
