Getting an exception when I try to scan

Hi,

First of all thank you for implementing/maintaining this lib.
I'm creating an app which needs to read ePassports and I've managed to integrate it on my RN app but I'm getting the following exception when I try to scan it:

I've confirmed the passport number, birth date and expiry date and this is still happening and I have no idea why I'm getting this exception.
Is anybody know why this is happening?

@mquintal can u pause in the debugger on the error and see if there's any more information on the error object?
