Move the logic duplicated between client.py and async_client.py into a new _base.py, matching sync/v1, prerecorded/v2 and streaming/v3: the resource base holding the gateway and its base_url/timeout pair, the three request body builders, and the tool-calling loop's core. Trim the exported names from 29 to 18, keeping the clients, the message param, the stream types, the response envelopes and the layer below them a caller annotates; the nested leaf models stay reachable through assemblyai.llm_gateway.v1.models. Reduce llm_gateway/__init__.py to a docstring, matching the empty streaming and prerecorded package inits, and drop the vestigial LLMGatewayMessageParamUnion alias. Remove a committed pprint of every understanding response, and reformat the one line in api.py that failed ruff format --check. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

…dule Master added the Dictation API and the sync live upload; this branch adds the LLM Gateway module. The four conflicts were all additions landing next to each other, resolved as unions: - __init__.py: keep both the .dictation.v1 and .llm_gateway.v1 import blocks, and both __all__ entries. - types.py: keep all five new Settings fields (sync_live_http_timeout, dictation_*, llm_gateway_*). - MIGRATION.md: keep the branch's LeMUR -> LLMGateway rewrite, with master's assembly.ai/wildfires.mp3 URL sweep re-applied to it. - __version__.py: 1.6.0, a minor bump past master's 1.5.4 for the new public LLMGateway surface.
