Senior Full-Stack Software Developer · Open-Source Maintainer · Technical Problem Solver
I design, build, and ship production software: SaaS products, business systems, APIs, developer tools, and the infrastructure they run on. Much of my work replaces slow, manual processes with software that people can rely on.
I have 12+ years of experience across software development and IT. I started in QA, moved into systems administration and databases, then grew into full-stack engineering, architecture, and technical leadership. That path is why I think about the whole system: the interface, the API, the data model, the deployment, and what happens when something breaks in production.
| Experience | 12+ years across software development and IT: QA, systems administration, full-stack engineering, architecture, and technical leadership |
| Scope | Senior, full-stack: frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure |
| Open source | Creator and maintainer of UI Thing and a family of published Nuxt and Strapi packages |
| Architecture & delivery | System design, production deployment, and Linux server administration |
| Leadership | Has led projects and worked directly with clients and stakeholders, from requirements through launch and support |
| Business systems | SaaS platforms, admin portals, and business-critical applications |
| Teaching | Practical software development tutorials on YouTube |
| Availability | Remote (Pacific Time). Open to senior engineering roles, contract work, and consulting |
I build tools that other developers install and depend on. Stars and download counts below are live.
A modern Nuxt component ecosystem built on Reka UI and Tailwind CSS, inspired by shadcn/ui and shadcn-vue. Components are added to your project as source code, so you can read, edit, and own them instead of fighting a black-box dependency. The ecosystem also includes a CLI, starter templates, and docd for building documentation sites.

| Project | What it does |
|---|---|
| Nuxt PDFMake |
Generate PDFs in Nuxt on the client or the server, with custom font support and a Nuxt DevTools panel. Docs |
| Nuxt Tour |
Guided product tours for Nuxt apps through a VTour component and a useTour() composable. Accessible, SSR-safe, and fully themeable. Docs |
| Strapi Email Designer 5 |
A Strapi 5 plugin for designing reusable email templates visually in the admin panel, then sending them from your own controllers and services. npm |

Open source is only part of the picture. Most of my commercial work is private, so the portfolio covers it in case-study form. These are the kinds of systems I have built, deployed, and maintained:
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Business platforms | SaaS products, customer portals, internal and admin dashboards, role-based access control |
| Data & reporting | Relational database design, reporting, data visualization |
| APIs & integrations | REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication and authorization, payments, email and notification systems |
| Web applications | PWAs with offline support, customer-facing business websites |
| Infrastructure | Linux deployment and administration, SSL, firewalls, backups |
| Process automation | Turning manual, pen-and-paper business processes into software |
Recent example: SwiftShift, a courier and logistics platform for a Jamaica-based company. I built it end to end: the public site, a customer portal for package tracking and service requests, a staff admin area, the API, Stripe payments, and the production server it runs on.

I am most effective on projects that look like this:
- Replacing manual workflows with software. Spreadsheets, paper, and phone calls become systems that track, automate, and report.
- Admin portals and internal tools. Software that lets staff run the business without waiting on a developer.
- SaaS and business applications. From first commit to a running production server, including hosting, email, SSL, and backups.
- API and backend architecture. Data models, authentication, permissions, and integrations designed to be maintained.
- Dashboards and reporting. Turning operational data into something people can act on.
- Modernizing existing applications. Untangling legacy code, improving performance, and making systems easier to extend.
- Developer tooling and reusable packages. Documented and published for other developers to use.
| Frontend | Nuxt, Vue, React, Tailwind CSS, Vuetify, Reka UI |
| Backend | Node.js, NestJS, Express, Django, Strapi, REST, GraphQL, authentication (JWT, Passport.js, Better Auth) |
| Data | PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Prisma |
| Infrastructure & delivery | Linux server administration, Docker, Nginx, Git, CI/CD, SSL, firewalls, backups |
| Languages | TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP, SQL |
I like explaining how things work. On Breezy Codes I publish practical tutorials on Nuxt, Vue, Strapi, and full-stack development, built from problems I have solved in real projects. I also maintain the open-source libraries above, which means writing documentation, answering issues, and shipping releases in public.
I am Jamaican, I work remotely, and I still enjoy building things I would want to use myself.
If UI Thing or one of my other packages saves you time, you can help keep it maintained.
