Rewrite the README as a front page - #3

The README still said embeddings were not shipped, but MemoryGate now calls the Embeddings service and degrades to word search, visibly, when it is missing. It also linked to the old personal repository. The front page now covers what MemoryGate is, how memory is built, retrieval, a quick start and the security model; the dashboard gallery, operations, AI runtime and development sections moved verbatim into docs/. Every Conker service now has the same front page: header, badges, a where it fits diagram, what it does, quick start, security model, development and a docs table. Links to the old personal repository are fixed.
Long deep-dive sections moved verbatim into `docs/`, so no detail was lost. Every command, path, route and variable in the new README was checked against the repo.
