Updates the requirements on CEnum to permit the latest version.
Updates CEnum to 1.0.0

Release notes

Sourced from CEnum's releases.

v1.0.0

CEnum v1.0.0

Diff since v0.5.0

CEnum 1.0.0 is the first stable release. It adds operators and documentation, fixes several inconsistencies between @cenum values and integers, and contains a few breaking changes.

Breaking changes

  • Julia 1.6 or later is required.
  • Operators between a @cenum value and an integer now follow Julia's integer promotion, instead of first converting both operands to the promoted type. Shifts keep the type of the left operand (x << Int64(1) for an Int32 enum is an Int32, it was an Int64), and mixing an unsigned enum with a negative integer no longer throws InexactError (x == -1 is false).
  • hash(x) is now hash(Integer(x)), consistent with ==. A @cenum value and the equal integer are therefore the same key in a Dict or Set.
  • A value that has no named member is shown as T(value), e.g. Fruit(7), both by show and at the REPL, instead of UnknownMember. Symbol(x) and string(x) still return UnknownMember.

New features

  • *, ÷, unary - and isless (so <, sort, ...) work between @cenum values, integers and values of other @cenum types.
  • Without an explicit base type, @cenum picks the first of Int32, UInt32, Int64 and UInt64 that can represent all values, as C compilers do. Values that do not fit in an Int32 used to throw.
  • A value expression can refer to earlier members of the same enum, as in C (@cenum Flags a=1 b=a<<1 ab=a|b), and can be a @cenum value.
  • T(x::T) returns x.
  • @cenum has a docstring, and there is a manual at https://juliainterop.github.io/CEnum.jl/.

Fixes and performance

  • Showing the abstract type CEnum.Cenum at the REPL no longer throws.
  • A Bool enum with more than two members reports an overflow instead of an InexactError.
  • Defining an enum takes a little over half the time it did in 0.5.0, which shortens precompilation of large generated wrappers.

I think the breaking changes should not affect us.
