Gradle 9.6.1 is the first patch release for Gradle 9.6.0. (released 2026-06-26).

The following issues were resolved:

Allow setting --non-interactive via Gradle property
Gradle 9.6.0 changes dependency-cache artifact permissions from 0644 to 0600
Deadlock can occur in DefaultBuildOperationQueue under certain circumstances
