Does this library support building as a shared library?

Using -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON does not take effect; it still compiles to a static library.

In the flow/tools/cmake/FlowLikeLib.cmake file, change STATIC to SHARED in add_library(${PROJ} STATIC ${SRCS}) to generate a shared library (dynamic library).

Would you be willing to work on a PR? Perhaps run it through our CI pipeline and/or add shared-lib config to the CI pipeline (so it builds it and uses it in some or all of the runs)?

Off-hand this looks like a valid ticket to file and probably the core change, as you indicated, is simple; but there is some testing and such to add, so it's always cool in the future.
