fix(push): stop the iOS CallKit hold loop and decode ungroup events - #1533
provider(_:perform: CXSetHeldCallAction) asked CallKit for another CXSetHeldCallAction with the same value while it was still performing the current one. Each performed hold therefore queued a copy of itself, and after an unhold the call kept flipping between held and active, sending hundreds of ActionCallToggleHold events, until the call ended.
The handler now only updates the call's state, sends the event and fulfills the action, like the mute handler. setHold(call:onHold:) had no other callers and is removed; holds the app requests still go through holdCall(call:onHold:).
On ungroup, CallKit sends callUUIDToGroupWith as nil. The Dart side decoded it with as String, which threw inside the event stream, so the event was lost and an uncaught error was reported. It is now decoded as String?.
⚠️ActionCallToggleGroup.callUUIDToGroupWith in stream_video is now String? (null means the call was ungrouped). Code that reads it as a non-null String has to handle null. Raised in review of #1527.
Testing
New toggle_group_event_test.dart decodes a group and an ungroup event through the event channel; the ungroup case fails without the fix.
flutter test in stream_video_push_notification passes; the example app builds for the simulator.
Not tested on a device yet.
v2
Both bugs are on v2 as well. The hold fix should cherry-pick (the event line next to it differs). For the ungroup fix, the nullable field is a source-breaking change, so v2 may prefer ignoring ungroup events instead.
Performing a CXSetHeldCallAction requested another one with the same
value, so each hold or unhold queued a copy of itself and the call
flipped between held and active until it ended.
Fixes#1529
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
CallKit sends a nil uuid to group with when a call is ungrouped, and the
event was decoded with a non-null String cast that threw inside the
event stream. ActionCallToggleGroup.callUUIDToGroupWith is now nullable.

Walkthrough
The PR changes iOS CallKit hold handling to avoid requesting a second hold action. It also makes the group-toggle UUID nullable in the event model and decoder, with tests for grouped and ungrouped events.

ActionCallToggleGroup.callUUIDToGroupWith is nullable, and the method-channel decoder accepts a null value. Tests cover grouped and ungrouped event payloads. The changelogs document the nullable value.
GetStream/stream-video-flutter#1529 describes repeated hold-action requests in the CallKit handler. This PR removes the handler’s additional hold-action request.

Explanation
For #1529, the PR removes the hold transaction request from provider(_:perform: CXSetHeldCallAction) in StreamVideoCallkitManager.swift. It removes setHold(call:onHold:) and retains holdCall(call:onHold:). These changes address the reported hold loop. The supplied data contains no coding requirements for FLU-1147, so compliance with that issue cannot be confirmed. The nullable ActionCallToggleGroup model, nullable decoder cast, and group/ungroup tests provide evidence for the stated PR intent but do not establish FLU-1147 acceptance criteria.
Resolution
Provide the active FLU-1147 issue details or acceptance criteria so the ungroup implementation and tests can be assessed against that issue.

Raise the stream_video dependency minimum.
packages/stream_video_push_notification/pubspec.yaml permits stream_video 1.7.2, whose constructor requires a String. An app resolving that version with this plugin fails to compile because this argument is String?. The workspace uses the local model and masks the mismatch. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
Raise the lower bound to the first release with the nullable constructor. Also update the bootstrap constraint in the root pubspec.yaml. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Fixes #1529
Resolves FLU-1147
Two iOS CallKit fixes in
stream_video_push_notification, one commit each.Hold loop (#1529)
provider(_:perform: CXSetHeldCallAction)asked CallKit for anotherCXSetHeldCallActionwith the same value while it was still performing the current one. Each performed hold therefore queued a copy of itself, and after an unhold the call kept flipping between held and active, sending hundreds ofActionCallToggleHoldevents, until the call ended. The handler now only updates the call's state, sends the event and fulfills the action, like the mute handler.
setHold(call:onHold:)had no other callers and is removed; holds the app requests still go throughholdCall(call:onHold:).Ungroup event (FLU-1147)
On ungroup, CallKit sends
callUUIDToGroupWithas nil. The Dart side decoded it withas String, which threw inside the event stream, so the event was lost and an uncaught error was reported. It is now decoded asString?.ActionCallToggleGroup.callUUIDToGroupWithinstream_videois nowString?(null means the call was ungrouped). Code that reads it as a non-nullStringhas to handle null. Raised in review of #1527.Testing
toggle_group_event_test.dartdecodes a group and an ungroup event through the event channel; the ungroup case fails without the fix.flutter testinstream_video_push_notificationpasses; the example app builds for the simulator.v2
Both bugs are on v2 as well. The hold fix should cherry-pick (the event line next to it differs). For the ungroup fix, the nullable field is a source-breaking change, so v2 may prefer ignoring ungroup events instead.
