Switching rooms in the home page causes a short loading placeholder to appear that is visually perceived as a visual flash. This is not great and could be improved by preloading the room state in the following cases:
- Mouse down on the room button
- Touch start on the room button (might have false positives, needs more thought)
- Swipe start
