+With this change, users with a custom role granting some/all of the Manage<Dataverse, Dataset, File>Permissions permissions without the <Dataverse, Dataset> Edit permission, which used to be required to see the menu on the Dataverse/Dataset page, can now use the user interface to change permissions (only API changes worked previously) - for the Dataverse on the Dataverse page and for the Dataset and/or Files on the Dataset page.
