Live status checklist (audio, speech to text, node control, links) and step-by-step AllStar instructions with this install's values filled in and copy buttons. First run lands on Setup; the dashboard shows a banner until audio arrives. README and docs point to it.
install.sh adds the logger node and AMI user through include files without editing existing node settings, backs up every file, and runs Net Logger under systemd at lower priority than Asterisk. uninstall.sh reverses it. Adds reverse proxy support (TRUST_PROXY), clearer AMI errors when app_rpt isn't loaded, and a release workflow that attaches a prebuilt dashboard.
Answer HEAD requests, read the real client IP from a header like Cloudflare's CF-Connecting-IP, refuse to install with under 1 GB of free memory, print each backup once, and document the Apache trap where the first site added takes over all port 80 traffic.
Clean up audio before transcribing, prompt Whisper with the phonetic alphabet and known calls, snap clipped calls to known ones, handle common transcription slips, add one-tap Add for calls heard but not on the roster, and save clips plus tools/tune.py for tuning on real audio.
pyproject.toml with license and project links (pytest config moves there), web package metadata, weekly Dependabot updates for pip, npm, Actions and Docker, and CI and license badges in the README.
Turn on voice activity filtering, skip low-confidence and looping segments, drop transcripts that only read the prompt back, and strip stock caption phrases. Reword the prompt so it's harder to echo. Tests use lines seen on a live node.
Callsign checked against the FCC database (callook.info) at first-run setup and when adding users, and re-checked every 30 days at login. Admins can vouch for non-US licenses or add users when the lookup is down. Accounts from 1.0 verify once at next login. REQUIRE_LICENSE=0 turns it off.
Nets page: schedule weekly, monthly or one-time nets that open, link the node in monitor mode, and close on time. Past nets list with roster, searchable transcript, CSV and transcript downloads. Dashboard shows the next scheduled net.
