You need to use BrcmPatchRAM3.kext (Why isn't this mentioned more often?)

Without it I also have this problem on IntelAX211

I give up on this shit , gonna buy a BCM94360NG

After adding BrcmPatchRAM3.kext bluetooth starts working even on intel chips, so maybe give that a try first?

straight off the bat, Bluetooth is way smoother. I was especially having this issue when on calls from my Mac so I'll test it with a call later.

Thanks! My Bluetooth seems to work flawlessly and it even sounds better and connects way smoother it practically feels perfectly like a native card. They need to include this in the OpenCore guide or somewhere in the brcmpatch repo.

You're welcome! I really think this should be mentioned in the IntelBluetoothFirmware README

It's not just required for Sonoma, it also fixes a bunch of issues on Ventura. Bluetooth sometimes stopped working after wake from sleep, with BrcmPatchRAM3.kext that's fixed also.

Experienced the same regarding using Web Bluetooth. Adding BrcmPatchRAM3.kext is not really an option for our end-users (on a web application).

After many many experiments, my wifi module Intel 8260NGW with 2.4G/5 Ghz Wi-Fi and 867M Bluetooth 4.2NGFF M.2 fine worked with BlueToolFixup.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext and with NVRAM keys bluetoothInternalControllerInfo:000000000000000000000000000, bluetoothExternalDongleFailed:00 without IntelBTPatcher.kext in Sonoma and Sequoia macoses.

hi can you share your config for sequoia?? I have same wifi card

Also my AX201 works in Sonoma. I've using latest BlueToolFixup kext, and myself build of IntelBluetoothFirmware kext with updated firmware and patch for LE devices(#446). Kexts.zip

My AX201 also works well in Sonoma. But on Sequoia 15.7, it cannot pair the keyboard even though the mouse, headphones... are all connected well.. If someone can tweak/supplement the kext above to work with Sequoia that would be great!!!!!

What works for me for an AX210 is the following:

Install IntelBTPatcher.kext (Depends on Lilu v1.6.2 or newer)
Make sure IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext v2.2.0 or newer is used.
Remove/Exclude IntelBluetoothInjector.kext for macOS Monterey and newer from the Bootloader's config
    Install BlueToolFixup.kext from acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM

Then, I defined the NVRAM keys bluetoothInternalControllerInfo:000000000000000000000000000, bluetoothExternalDongleFailed:00

Remember to add these keys under the corresponding NVRAM section and also under NVRAM delete you should include bluetoothInternalControllerInfo and bluetoothExternalDongleFailed. Otherwise it will not work.

Some users have reported success adding the following boot arg in NVRAM: -btlfxboardid

Many thanks. In my config, I have IntelBTPatcher.kext, BlueToolFixup.kext , NVRAM keys bluetoothInternalControllerInfo and bluetoothExternalDongleFailed (add and delete of 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82). Logitech mouse (BLE) and AirPod can connected but keyboard cannot (in Sonoma, all device BLE and AirPods can connected). I tried many different ways: changing kext order, adding boot args, adding/removing BrcmpatchRAM3..) my keyboard still can't connect. Are there something wrong here?

Sorry to bring this up, I actually have exactly the same keyboard pairing issue as you with the same AX201 and tried all the combinations I can think of but still no luck, hope someone with AX201 that has no issue in Sonoma can share what should be done there.

I just realized this is a forked repo. But I didn't find the kext, do you compile it by yourself? Would you mind sharing how to build it?

I finally managed to build it by having MacKernelSDK and the Lilu I used in the EFI folder but seems still no luck with keyboard. Would you mind sharing what you have done to make keyboard working?

Which macos do you use? Sonoma or Sequoia? I use Sonoma and Tahoe (I think Sequoia will be OK too). The key is the 2 kexts IntelBluetoothFirmware_FixLE_Tahoe.kext and IntelBTPatcher_FixLE_Tahoe.kext built from the above repo. Try to create a config with the order of kexts as in my picture.

I am in Sequoia 15.7.2 now. Just want to clarify what you wanted me to do is:

Because I cannot find any prebuilt kexts in that repo and seems no such kexts with "FixLE" in that thread too.
I also tried to arrange the order as yours just I ignore the part of wifi as I don't really need it this moment and leave others as is but still no luck.

    1. There are prebuilt kexts in the repo but they expired, so cannot be downloaded.
    2. You shoud build it online by github (create your account, forked repo and buid...) instead by xcode. Search google how to do.
    3. Kexts with "FixLE" are renamed from kexts which built from the repo above.
    4. My keyboard cannot connected until i use the kexts above.

Thanks, I haven't setup the workflow but grabbed the built texts from the pipeline ran by @Vinhts @alikaylan and also built it with the command from workflow but still no luck with BLE keyboard. I could see the keyboard shown in the Bluetooth panel but couldn't be paired(no digits windows popup) until it timeout. Looks like there are still some missing pieces.

I also tried some combinations with above boot-args and BrcmPatchRam3.kext, checked again that the Bluetooth Host Controller is under internal type of USB, and setup itwlm and ensure the wifi works also the kext in above order, confirmed two keyboard are working with pairing my iphone.

I got my solution works with claude code(I don't know anything about that detail but it is also a patch to the above repo). You are free to pick it up.
