• "Update firmware" in the sidebar footer opens a full-screen stepper: rate (0.5 M default) and rest warning, load .bin files, enter bootloaders, flash selected rows, restart all, versions after
• Each row's image menu lists only files with its compat key; app versions come from the scan before Enter, "no app" only off the roster
• Holds one exclusive bus turn for the whole dialog; after Enter it cannot be closed until Restart all, with the stuck warning and a beforeunload prompt; a lost adapter unlocks it and hands over to Reconnect
• Sim options &boot= (bootloader-only board) and &fail=id:erase|write
