fix(marketing): say "formerly Superset" in the homepage description and link paradev.com - #9216
Conversation
…nd link paradev.com The homepage meta description now starts with BRAND.INTRO_NAME, like the title, so search snippets for old brand queries say "Paradev (formerly Superset)". The translated text is unchanged, so no catalog re-keys. Old superset.sh links that act as backlinks or user-facing URLs now point at paradev.com: root package.json homepage, the MCP registry websiteUrl, the CLI plan-upgrade hint, desktop notice samples and seeds, mobile stories, and the CLI demo tape. Plugin $schema URLs and iOS podspecs are left alone (plugin publish bump; mobile fingerprint). Co-authored-by: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com>

Full details: Title check
-
Explanation
The title "fix(marketing): say "formerly Superset" in the homepage description and link paradev.com" is specific and matches the main change: the marketing homepage meta description now starts with "Paradev (formerly Superset)". It also names the broader paradev.com link update. The title does not cover the many other URL replacements in the changeset (package.json homepage, MCP server.json, CLI hints, desktop notices, mobile stories, demo tape), but that is expected for a title. It is a conventional commit with a clear scope. The title is about 88 characters, slightly long, but it is still clear.
Full details: Description check
-
Explanation
The description is complete and follows the template's intent. The "What" section explains the homepage meta description change, the list of superset.sh to paradev.com link replacements, and the intentional exclusions (plugin $schema URLs, iOS podspecs, API/app hosts) with reasons. The "How I tested it" section lists verification steps (URL status checks, the cli-framework test run, tsc --noEmit for marketing, biome) but gives no screenshots, which the template says are strongly preferred for user-visible changes such as the homepage description. The checklist items are not ticked. The description also contains auto-generated cubic content. The required sections are present and substantively filled, so the check passes, with a note on the missing screenshot and checklist status.
