Before: the README of the pydaqmx branch describes the NIDAQmx plugins of the other branch in its introduction, lists only two of the instruments (DAQmx_MultipleScannerControl, DAQmx_PLcounter), and says nothing about the driver or the difference with 5.3.x.

After: the README has a section "Difference with the 5.3.x branch" (a table: PyDAQmx here against the nidaqmx package there, the instruments of each branch, the use, the state), a "Requirements" section (PyMoDAQ >= 5.3.7, the NI-DAQmx driver, pydaqmx), and the complete list of the instruments of this branch (generic DAQmx actuator and 0D/1D viewers, DAQmxAI, DAQmxDualAI, DAQmx_PLcounter, DAQmx_ScannerControl, DAQmx_MultipleScannerControl).

How: written from the code of the two branches (plugin classes and docstrings here; README.rst, the docs and NIDAQmx_Move.py of 5.3.x). The description of the 5.3.x tests with a cDAQ-9174 and a USB-6341 comes from its user guide, and I did not check it with hardware. The file builds without warning with docutils.
