Summary

The upcoming 5.3.x branch of pymodaq_plugins_daqmx is based on the nidaqmx API and drops the PyDAQmx based DAQmx objects (hardware.national_instruments.daqmx) that this plugin imports. Since main now targets PyMoDAQ 5.3 (pyproject), this PR pins pymodaq_plugins_daqmx>=1.1,<5 in pyproject.toml: 1.1.x is the PyDAQmx based release for PyMoDAQ 5 (earlier releases target PyMoDAQ 4).

Changes

  • pyproject.toml: pymodaq_plugins_daqmx -> pymodaq_plugins_daqmx>=1.1,<5

Next steps

Release this plugin before pymodaq_plugins_daqmx 5.3.x is published, then port moke to daqmxni and lift the bound.

The upcoming 5.3.x of pymodaq_plugins_daqmx drops PyDAQmx and the DAQmx
objects used here. Keep installing the PyDAQmx based versions until this
plugin is ported to nidaqmx.

main now targets PyMoDAQ 5.3 and declares dependencies in pyproject.toml,
so the pin moves there and uses the PyDAQmx based 1.1.x line for PyMoDAQ 5.
