What changed

  • Removed the Telegram-only custom automation helper that incorrectly said chat replies could not resume the Session.
  • Added focused render coverage confirming Telegram destinations show the same continuation guidance as the other supported chat providers.

Why this change was made

The form copy had fallen behind shipped behavior and the public automation documentation, both of which support continuing custom automation Sessions from Telegram replies.

Impact

Users configuring a Telegram report destination now see accurate guidance that replies continue the automation Session directly in chat. Runtime behavior is unchanged.

Validation

  • mise exec -- pnpm exec dotenvx run -f .env.test -- pnpm --filter @roomote/web exec vitest run --project client src/components/settings/automations/AutomationsSettings.render.client.test.tsx (51 tests passed)
  • mise exec -- pnpm --filter @roomote/web check-types
  • focused oxfmt and ESLint checks for both changed files
  • repository pre-push checks: oxlint, residual lint, fast type checks, and knip
