Professional experiences

Internship as a Software Engineer at Savoir-faire Linux from 2026 February to July:

  • Set up vulnerability scanning in SEAPATH, a Linux Foundation project.
  • Completely implemented CI pipelines for several repositories of the SEAPATH project using GitHub Actions.
  • Contributed to the Yocto Project.
  • Involved in the development of VulnScout, a vulnerability assessment tool.
  • All contributions were made from a dedicated work account: @youennlj-sfl.

Internship as a System Administrator and Database Engineer at Purecontrol in summer 2025:

  • Managed company environment (Proxmox, monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana and management with Ansible).
  • Set-up an on-premise ClickHouse cluster and designed databases to hold customers time-series.
  • Wrote a migration proxy to ease the transition from InfluxDB instances to ClickHouse using FastAPI, optimized for large throughput.
  • Deployed a development mirror environnement using advanced Traefik configuration.

Research internship at DIAG Robotics Laborator in Sapienza Università di Roma in summer 2024:

  • Developed a demonstrator that integrates a haptic glove and a virtual reality headset in a physics simulation to feel the touch of deformable materials.
  • The conference paper is available at HAL-04733238 and the source code is available at SkytAsul/DeformableSimulation.
  • Also made a minimal, open-source template of integrating MuJoCo with OpenXR in Python along with a paper describing the creation process.
