…progress The re-submission guard skipped the canSubmit early return whenever submissionAttempts exceeded 1. canSubmit is also false while isSubmitting is true, so every handleSubmit call during a pending submission fell through to onSubmit and ran it concurrently. Restore the early return while a submission is in progress so subsequent calls invoke onSubmitInvalid and return, matching the behavior before the re-submission re-validation path was added. Re-submission of an invalid, idle form still re-runs field validators to clear stale errors.

!canSubmitearly return in_handleSubmit(packages/form-core/src/FormApi.ts) applies only whensubmissionAttempts <= 1.canSubmitis also false whileisSubmittingis true, so eachhandleSubmit()call during a pending submission skipped the early return and calledonSubmitagain.The early return now also applies while
this.state.isSubmittingis true. Those calls invokeonSubmitInvalidand return, as they did before #2120. An idle, invalid form on attempt > 1 still re-runsvalidateAllFields('submit')to clear stale field errors, so the #2120 behavior is unchanged.One judgement call: calling
onSubmitInvalidfor the in-flight case restores the pre-#2120 behavior. Returning silently is the alternative, since the form is busy, not invalid. That is a one-line change if you prefer it.The new test in
