I much prefer the old UI it feels so effortless and the new one feels heavy and I am not particularly a fan of the new sections.

I don't think it makes much sense to just copy paste in the old UIs, some things I thought about:

Adding a star system where you can mark versions as favorite and have them displayed in a separate category.
Highlighting important major versions with a different background color.
Adding a compact mode to the settings that hides some information like the marketing release name or the icon.
