I build small tools that do one thing and do not ask you to sign up. Around thirty of them are running right now on one server; the index is at alftech.space.
These do their work on your machine. Once the page is open it keeps working with the network off, and no file leaves the tab.
| Shrink | photos and video, smaller |
| Convert | iPhone HEIC to JPG, resize, WebP |
| merge, split, rotate, photos to PDF | |
| Markdown · source | editor with live preview, tables, export |
| QR | links, Wi-Fi, contact cards |
| Traces | what a file reveals about you |
| Cut | trim video, make a GIF |
JSON Tools · Regex Tester · Crontab Guru · README Maker · Palette · Prismatic — an Elasticsearch console for when installing Kibana for five queries is too much.
- KidSpace — where to take a child in Bali and Luxembourg. 2,500 places, 2,098 of them mapped from OpenStreetMap.
- CheckCV — seven scores on your CV in a minute: wording, formatting, whether the software that reads it first can parse it.

Most of these are closed source for now; the ones that are open are linked above. Something broken or missing: a@alftech.space. Status of everything.
