builtbyproxy/README.md

Hi, I'm Lachlan 👋

I'm a software developer in Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺. I write PHP, Laravel and React at Rex, on the advertising and website products real estate agencies run on.

Before Rex I was at Visibuild in React, React Native and GraphQL. Before that, a year and a half remote at Calyptia, and three years full-stack at Tanda, where I built a large part of the mobile app and untangled some gnarly compliance problems. Earlier roles live on my LinkedIn.

Outside work I keep a garden of side projects 🌱 Jellyscribe writes everything you finish watching in Jellyfin straight into Letterboxd and Serializd. Buds is a gentle way for introverts to stay close to the people they care about. Rubyhash diffs two Ruby hashes so you don't have to read them character by character.

I founded HotHack 🔥, Brisbane's hackathon for junior developers. If you're early in your career and in town, come build something with us 🎉

Tech has a gender diversity problem. Mentoring is something I can do about it, so I teach React and HTML/CSS at SheCodes.

For a fuller timeline, see my website.
