📋 Script Details
OpenList as a CT script, in two variants sharing one json: Debian 13 (systemd) and Alpine 3.24 (OpenRC).
The upstream release binary is deployed as-is — the glibc asset on Debian, the static musl one on Alpine — and runs with --data /opt/openlist_data. Config, database, logs and search index therefore live outside the directory CLEAN_INSTALL wipes, so an update replaces the binary and nothing else; no backup/restore step is needed. The admin password is generated during the install, applied with openlist admin set and printed on the last line.

The openlist script is ready for testing:

One script serves both variants: the installer asks for the container OS, or pass var_os=alpine to pick Alpine unattended.
The admin password is generated during the installation and saved to /root/openlist.creds inside the container. Change it with
/opt/openlist/openlist --data /opt/openlist_data admin set <password>.Config, database, logs and search index live in /opt/openlist_data, outside the directory an update replaces, so updating never touches them.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
