Typecho is a lightweight, open-source PHP blogging platform with a Markdown editor, pages, categories and tags, threaded comments, themes, plugins and an XML-RPC API for desktop and mobile editors. This script installs the official release with nginx, PHP-FPM and SQLite and completes the setup with upstream's command-line installer, so no setup page is ever left open.
The admin password is generated during install and shown at the end of the install output, together with the username. Log in at http:///admin/ and replace the placeholder email address admin@localhost.local in your profile.
The site address is set to http://, and Typecho builds every link from it. Change it under Settings > Basic when the IP changes or the blog sits behind a reverse proxy or domain.
Everything that is not core code lives in /opt/typecho_data: config.inc.php, the SQLite database typecho.db, and usr/ with themes, plugins and uploads. /opt/typecho/usr and /opt/typecho/config.inc.php are links into it. Back up /opt/typecho_data.
Updates replace only the core files, as upstream's upgrade guide does, and leave usr/ alone: the bundled themes are not refreshed, and edits made with the theme editor survive. After an update, open /admin/ and confirm the database upgrade Typecho asks for.
The interface is set to English using the language pack from typecho/languages, the timezone to UTC instead of upstream's UTC+8, and pretty URLs without index.php are on. All three can be changed in the settings.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.

The Typecho script is ready for testing. Run it in the Proxmox VE shell (or on an Incus host) to create a container:
