Summary

Grok Bot's mobile app stops listing Robinhood and Intercom, because people can't finish signing in to either from a phone. Desktop is unchanged.

  • Robinhood: finishes 87% of first-time sign-ins on desktop, 8.6% on iPhone and 24% on Android (Oct 16–22). Robinhood refuses sign-in from phone browsers by design. On iPhone Safari and Android Chrome its sign-in page says "Use your desktop web browser. To connect your agent to Robinhood, go to your AI platform on your desktop device."
  • Intercom: about 58% on desktop and under about 6–17% on mobile. The cause is not known yet.

Changes

  • third_party/robinhood and third_party/intercom: add minClientVersions.sandMobile: "never", bump to 1.0.1, and add CHANGELOG entries. The backend sandMobile gate (pluginMinClientVersions.ts) hides a plugin only from requests with the SandMobile/ User-Agent. Desktop Grok Bot, Cursor, the CLI and cloud agents are unaffected.

The mobile app's own Connect buttons and chat cards for these apps are covered separately by everysphere draft PR #1176282, which shows "Connect on your computer".

Test plan

  • node scripts/validate-plugins.mjs passes.

Note

Low Risk
Metadata-only plugin manifest and changelog updates; no auth, trading, or MCP runtime logic changes.

Overview
Robinhood and Intercom plugins are bumped to 1.0.1 with minClientVersions.sandMobile: "never", so Grok Bot’s mobile app stops surfacing integrations where OAuth/sign-in effectively fails on phone (Robinhood blocks mobile browsers; Intercom mobile completion is very low). Desktop and other clients that don’t use the SandMobile/ gate are unchanged.

Each plugin’s CHANGELOG documents the mobile-only hide and the reason.
