The story

Near the end of a dry season, a broken clay channel stops carrying water to young orchard trees. Its escaped water has made another living place below the break. samira tells the village what happened, and the group finds a reversible way to keep both places watered. Old roof tiles do most of the respectable work. A goat's hoofprint does the rest without waiting for an appointment.

Phi was composed first. The English is a close reading of that settled Phi, not an English draft translated into the language. The story introduces no roots. It draws eight optional roots from seven existing modules when their distinctions are useful, while the rest of its content vocabulary remains base.

Rendering contract

The new story form requires one story section, at least one scene, a declared passage count, and exactly one divider between neighbouring scenes. The build rejects malformed three-line passages, non-Phi source lines, stale counts, incompatible apparatus, and untreated fences. This page declares six scenes, five dividers, and 96 passages, all of which the generated HTML reproduces exactly.

Voice pass

The separate Humanizer and Phi-voice review removed English additions that the Phi did not supply, including "long," "held," and "few." It also recast a repeated three-part shelf summary so the catalogue's small comic list remains a single earned flourish rather than a template.
