chore(deps): add @deepnote/cloud-sync and align bundled @deepnote packages - #561

…kages Add @deepnote/cloud-sync 0.1.0 and @deepnote/cloud 0.2.1 as direct dependencies and move blocks, convert, database-integrations and runtime-core to the versions cloud-sync pins, so the desktop bundle resolves one copy of each. @deepnote/cli stays at 0.8.0 and keeps its own nested copies. Raise the runtime-core ws override to 8.21.3 and complete the default ServerInfo in the runtime-core test mock (exited, stderrTail, childPids). Closes #560 Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_017pqrotDqxwXxXYVEG5Z7wh
…add-deepnotecloud-sync-and-align-the-bundled-deepnote package-lock.json was the only conflict, in two hunks on the root undici entry (this branch: 6.28.0 reachable from production code; main: 6.29.0 marked dev-only after the 2026-10-06 vulnerability fixes). Rather than splice the hunks, regenerate the lockfile: take main's lockfile, apply this branch's package.json changes with `npm install`, and verify the result. - Every lockfile entry changed only by main equals main's, and every entry changed only by this branch equals this branch's. The two entries changed by both sides resolve to undici 6.29.0 (main's version) without the dev flag (this branch's reachability), and the root package at version 1.8.0 with this branch's dependencies. - A clean `npm install` leaves the lockfile byte-identical (the CI drift check), and `better-npm-audit audit` and `audit --production` exit 0 with only the existing .nsprc exceptions. - Line 2726: Preserve issue #560’s no-behavior-change contract for the
runtime-core dependency used by the extension: add compatibility around agent
provider routing and stopServer’s grace period, or explicitly update the issue
to accept those behavior changes and add coverage for both. The @deepnote/blocks
dependency change alone does not require a pivot-table fallback change.

…add-deepnotecloud-sync-and-align-the-bundled-deepnote Conflicts: package.json (adjacent dependency lines) and package-lock.json (main converted it to lockfileVersion 3 in #557 and bumped @deepnote/sql-language-server to 3.0.1 in #556). - package.json: keep the @deepnote/* bumps from this branch together with main's @deepnote/sql-language-server ^3.0.1. - package-lock.json: regenerated from origin/main's lockfile plus the merged package.json with `npm install --package-lock-only` (npm 10.9.4, Node 22.21.1) in a full checkout, not hand-merged. Per-package comparison against both parents shows every entry changed on only one side kept that side's value; the root entry is main's plus this branch's dependency changes. …add-deepnotecloud-sync-and-align-the-bundled-deepnote Brings in the qltysh/qlty-action/install 2.4.0 bump (#547); no conflicts. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_017pqrotDqxwXxXYVEG5Z7wh
The override only restated what the lockfile already holds. The @deepnote/runtime-core used by the extension (0.7.0) requires ws ^8.21.3, which covers every current ws advisory, and the lockfile is byte-identical without the override. Keeping an exact pin would also conflict with every runtime-core release that raises its ws floor. Summary
Adds
@deepnote/cloud-sync0.1.0 and@deepnote/cloud0.2.1 as direct dependencies and moves@deepnote/blocks,convert,database-integrationsandruntime-coreto the versions cloud-sync pins, so the desktop bundle resolves one copy of each. Nothing insrc/imports the new packages yet.package.jsonandpackage-lock.json: the six dependency entries from the issue. The@deepnote/runtime-corewsoverride is removed instead of raised from8.21.0to8.21.3as the issue asks: runtime-core 0.7.0 requiresws ^8.21.3itself, the lockfile is byte-identical without the override, and an exact pin would conflict with every runtime-core release that raises itswsfloor.@deepnote/clistays at0.8.0and keeps its own nested copies.src/test/mocks/deepnoteRuntimeCore.ts: the defaultstartServerresult is a complete runtime-core 0.7.0ServerInfo(exited,stderrTail,childPids). Before this edit it was the only type error the bump produced.Closes #560

The lockfile is regenerated from main's lockfile and the mergedpackage.jsonin a full checkout, not hand-merged: the 377 entries changed only by main equal main's, the 64 changed only by this branch equal this branch's, and the root entry is main's plus this branch's dependency changes.undicistays at 6.29.0 without thedevflag, because the CLI's runtime-core 0.5.0 reaches it from production code.CI=true npm installwith scripts and an empty npm cache, thengit diff --exit-code HEAD), leavespackage-lock.jsonunchanged, and so doesnpm installin the working copy.better-npm-audit auditandaudit --production(the CI audit jobs) exit 0 with only the existing.nsprcexceptions. qlty now scans the root lockfile; emulated with osv-scanner 2.7.0 and the repo'sosv-scanner.toml, it reports the same three accepted advisories as on main and nothing new, and the lockfile is 1,421,354 bytes against qlty's 2,098,000-byte limit.npm run typecheck,lint,formatandspell-checkpass. On VS Code 1.111.0 the E2Eworkspacegroup (24 tests, includes main's newaddExistingIntegrationsuite) andexecutiongroup (7 tests, includeshelloWorldandsqlQueryChaining) pass.executionandagentgroups (the latter includesagentBlock) passed on VS Code 1.111.0 and on VS Code 1.95.3 (Electron 32.2.1, Node 20.18.0), with no module-load or syntax errors from@deepnote/runtime-core,aior@ai-sdk/*in the extension host logs. Theagentgroup and the 1.95.3 run were not repeated on the merged tree; the merges only brought in integrations code, the@deepnote/sql-language-server3.0.1 bump, the lockfile format change and CI configuration.@deepnote/*package. The runtime-core entry points load and run under Node 20.18.0.Behavior changes that come with the bump
The issue states there is no user-visible change. Review found the following; these are not addressed in this PR (out of scope for #560) and are worth follow-ups:
pivot-tableblocks (@deepnote/blocks4.8.x). 4.7.0 rejected a file containing apivot-tableblock; 4.8.1 accepts it. The extension has no converter for it, so it takes the unknown-block fallback (src/notebooks/deepnote/deepnoteDataConverter.ts). Parsing was reproduced; the save path (the block coming back as an emptymarkdownblock) was traced in code, not run end to end.@deepnote/runtime-core0.7.0).autonow resolves togpt-6.1-solinstead ofgpt-5. The E2E agent suite uses aimock, which serves both routes, so it cannot detect this.stopServer. The default grace period grows from 2 s to 10 s, so an environment switch or shutdown with a busy server can take up to about 12 s longer. For a server killed by a signal, the wait is not skipped.Smaller notes: re-resolving the
