The homepage's generic feature grid and animated hero made it difficult to see how Devsy Desktop, the CLI, providers, and editors fit together. Lead with portable developer workspaces, an authentic running-workspace terminal frame, a provider chooser, clear installation links, verified compatibility, and the runnable CLI quickstart.

Use restrained purple accents, responsive typography and layouts, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, Escape-to-close mobile navigation, and reduced-motion handling. Keep existing branding, navigation destinations, services copy, Netlify form behavior, analytics integration, and legal text. Organize the existing markup into small components and a mobile-navigation hook. No dependencies or runtime/provider code change.

Closes #1440

Validation:

  • Production Next.js build and TypeScript check passed; 115 static routes generated. Documentation link check: 0 errors.
  • Relevant pre-commit hooks, secret checks, and git diff --check passed. Sites are excluded from repository Biome hooks; supplemental lint passed with the inherited fragment-anchor false positive excluded.
  • Browser checks at 320, 375, 390, 768, 992, 1024, 1280, and 1440px showed no horizontal overflow. Verified navigation, installation CTA, mobile Escape/focus restoration, skip link, required form fields, light/dark contrast, and reduced motion.
  • Final CodeRabbit review: zero findings. CodeScene: 10.0 with no findings, against baseline 7.34. Independent source review found no actionable findings. Rebuilt homepage markup exactly matches the visually accepted design.

Desktop/mobile screenshots and a production-export loopback preview were provided for visual inspection. Full-page captures await the lazy provider image's decode. Real form submission, production analytics delivery, remote CI, and production performance have not been verified.

The product captures originate from the repository's June 2026 assets. The terminal PNG exactly preserves a decoded GIF frame; the provider image uses only a CSS display crop. The hero is about 186 KiB with explicit dimensions/high fetch priority; the provider screenshot is lazy-loaded. No claim of fresh/latest-release captures is made.

Coordinate the logo replacement in #1212: existing logo markup is preserved here, but that PR needs refreshed patch context after this source extraction. Merge and deployment require separate approval.

RetriggerConfidence Score: 5/5

[Low impact] The PR appears safe to merge, subject to the separately required approval.

Summary

The homepage now leads with portable workspaces, product screenshots, editor compatibility, and a CLI quickstart.

  • The homepage shows how one workspace travels across tools and providers.
  • The homepage walks visitors from a workspace definition to a running project.
  • The mobile menu closes with Escape and returns focus to its toggle.
  • The redesigned homepage still leads from services to contact and installation.

No actionable issues were found at 5569b41a928a3b92a96245bd4989f072970fdf84. Builds and browser checks were not rerun. The attached images could not be visually inspected because image input is unsupported here.

skevetter explicitly deferred the logo replacement to #1212 and production form, analytics, and performance verification.
