Summary

  • Make team_id optional on POST /v1/signals/deletions (defaults to authenticated team).
  • Keep inference delete wording that turns off team inference collection.
  • Soften re-enable guidance: waiting until complete is recommended; mid-delete re-enable is allowed (new data kept).

Test plan

  • Spec review against signals-api OpenAPI
  • Follow with godo + doctl PRs

Spell out for content writers and API callers that team_id is always
required (including type=inference), must match the token's team, and
is not inferred when omitted — doctl may resolve it for CLI users.

…idance

Match signals-api: omit team_id to use the token's team; document that
mid-delete consent re-enable is allowed while waiting until complete is recommended.
