The star history chart in the README is currently broken: the original star-history service is no longer able to update charts since GitHub restricted the stargazer API to repository owners only (https://www.star-history.com/blog/github-stargazer-api-restriction). This PR points the badge to a maintained public instance that serves the chart without requiring API tokens.
