## What Add rg -M/--max-columns and --max-columns-preview support for long output lines. ## Why Match real ripgrep behavior for omitted long matching/context lines and previews. ## How Parse max-column flags, route full-line output through a shared omission/preview formatter, and add real-rg differential coverage for normal, context, and passthru modes. ## Risk - Low / Medium / High - Low: scoped to rg output formatting, with focused unit tests and pinned real-rg differentials. ## Checklist - [x] Tests added or updated - [x] Backward compatibility considered Verification: just pre-pr
