Summary

The Policy column in the health report and drift table views was 26 characters wide. A policy name longer than that wrapped onto a second line and pushed the row apart: in a run against the lab tenant, ISL-POST-FEEDBACK-RECURRED-SILENT (33 characters) printed as two lines and ISL-W32-FILE-NOTEXIST-FALSE (27) broke after FALS. Production tenants name policies longer than 26 characters as a matter of course.

Changes

  • IntuneScriptLab.Format.ps1xml: the Policy column of the IntuneScriptLab.HealthReport and IntuneScriptLab.DriftResult table views is 40 characters wide. Nothing else in either view moves; Notes and Detail have no fixed width and take the rest.
  • CHANGELOG.md: Fixed entry under Unreleased.

Verification

  • Rendered a 33-character and a 39-character policy name through both views: one line each, columns aligned.
  • Module.Contract (which checks that every output type has a format view), Get-IntuneScriptHealth and Compare-IntuneDeployedScript suites: 44 passed on PowerShell 7.6.6.

The Policy column of the IntuneScriptLab.HealthReport and DriftResult
table views was 26 characters wide, so a policy name longer than that
wrapped onto a second line and pushed the row apart; a run against the
lab tenant wrapped ISL-POST-FEEDBACK-RECURRED-SILENT and broke
ISL-W32-FILE-NOTEXIST-FALSE after FALS. Both columns are 40 wide now;
Notes and Detail take the rest of the line as before.

40 rather than no width: a fixed width keeps the column aligned across rows when names vary, and 40 holds every policy name in the lab tenant and names like "Remediation - Reset Teams cache (pilot)" on one line, while leaving Detail enough room at the 120 columns the help blocks assume.

Changed together with the drift view's column so both tables line up when they are read one after the other, which is how the health report and the drift results are usually compared.
