Description
Plugin name
launch-film
Short description
Makes a 20 to 40 second launch film for a product from its website or App Store page: an MP4 at 1920x1080 with music, using the product's real logo, colors, fonts and screens. Everything renders locally with Chrome and ffmpeg, with no account or API key.

Additional notes for reviewers
The skill now runs the launch-film CLI pinned to the release it was written for, npx -y launch-film@0.2.0. That version was published to npm by launch-film's release workflow, with provenance. Each release bumps the pin together with package.json and the plugin manifests, and a test fails if they disagree. It needs Node 22, ffmpeg and a local Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave. To read the brand it runs easybrandkit, also mine and already in this marketplace, through npx.
At this commit, this repository's Agent Plugins manifest check and @microsoft/vally 0.20.0 lint both pass on the plugin root. I'm the author.

/request-fixes The main issue with this submission is that it always uses the
latesttag on thelaunch-filmCLI, which means that there is a risk of drift between the skill definition and the CLI tool itself. It would be better to pin to a CLI release, and as a new release is done then the plugin bumps. That will ensure the correct versions are used together.

Thanks, pinned it. The skill now runs
npx -y launch-film@0.2.0, the release it was written for. A test fails when the skill, the plugin manifests and package.json disagree, so each release bumps the pin along with the plugin. I updated the commit SHA and the version in the submission.aaronpowell commentedon Nov 5, 2026
