Additional notes for reviewers

Disclosure: I'm Mesmer Lord, the founder of LurkAPI, the hosted service this plugin calls.

What's in it, at the repository root:

  • plugin.json (Agent Plugins 1.0.0 schema) and mcp.json, which registers one remote server: https://api.lurkapi.com/mcp, Streamable HTTP. Users sign in through the browser (OAuth); clients that can't can send an x-api-key header. One tool per endpoint, all reads of public data: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Telegram, Google Maps and the Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok ad libraries. Nothing posts, logs in to a user's social accounts, or writes anywhere.
  • Seven skills in skills/ (agentskills.io format): lurkapi (routing: which tool for which job), lurk (a 4-call brand snapshot), ad-research, video-transcripts, reddit-research, creator-vetting and demand-research. Each names its calls and their credit cost so the agent can state a budget first.

Costs: most calls cost 1 credit; new accounts get 100 free credits with no card and a daily top-up to 25; packs start at $9 for 10,000 credits. The skills tell the agent to check the balance (a free call) before runs of more than 20 calls.

The same repository is published as a Claude Code plugin and marketplace, with Cursor and Gemini CLI manifests beside it; for Copilot, the root plugin.json is the manifest. I haven't run the Copilot CLI install myself, so the intake smoke test is the first check of that path; I'll fix whatever it reports. The SHA above is the current head of main, which has no release tag yet.
