Additional notes for reviewers

Open-source (MIT) plugin for moving GCP workloads to AWS. It works in two modes: Direct mode (paste GCP Terraform/config/SDK code, get the AWS equivalent plus a table of every behavior change) and a planned migration mode for multi-service repos. It bundles the public AWS Knowledge MCP server for current AWS docs.

Domain constraints it encodes (reference files under gcp-to-aws/skills/): Pub/Sub ordering keys → SQS FIFO message groups, dead-letter max-delivery and ack deadline → visibility timeout; Cloud Run request timeouts → Lambda/ECS limits; signed URL expiry → S3 presign limits; Cloud SQL IAM auth → RDS IAM auth; BigQuery SQL dialect differences; Cloud Scheduler time zones → EventBridge Scheduler; GCS lifecycle rules → S3 lifecycle; and a coupling checklist for event payload shapes that downstream consumers depend on.

Evaluation at the pinned snapshot: evals/cases/gcp-to-aws/01-orders-platform with 12 pre-registered criteria and offline terraform validate; results in evals/RESULTS-gcp-to-aws.md (Sonnet, 3 runs: 30/36 criteria, terraform validate 3/3 PASS; run on 1.0.0).

Pins tag v2.2.0 and its full commit SHA. Free, MIT licensed, no telemetry, sign-up, or paid service. The bundled AWS Knowledge MCP server is AWS's public endpoint and needs no credentials.

/reject This submission does not yet demonstrate meaningful uplift over a capable model handling the same GCP-to-AWS migration. The service-specific guidance may be useful, but the published 30/36 result comes from three Claude Code runs of one scenario with plugin 1.0.0 loaded and no without-plugin baseline. It therefore does not show which migration mistakes the plugin prevents. The evaluation reports 0/3 for both the multi-region and no-silent-changes criteria; the submitted 1.1.0 adds a checklist and a behaviour-changes table, but has not been re-evaluated in the published results. Passing terraform validate establishes configuration validity, not behavioural parity, and this evaluation does not exercise the multi-session migration workflow. There is not enough evidence here to establish a differentiated Copilot contribution.

    ❌ External plugin rejected

A maintainer rejected gcp-to-aws, and the submission issue has been closed.

    Reason

This submission does not yet demonstrate meaningful uplift over a capable model handling the same GCP-to-AWS migration.

This issue is now closed and /rerun-intake will no longer reopen it. If you address the feedback, please open a new external plugin submission issue.
