Use Kitty Graphics Protocol to display Images #557
I wonder if the fact that VSCode terminal recently added support for the Kitty Graphics Protocol – https://code.visualstudio.com/updates/v1_110#_terminal – has any bearing on the priority of this for the copilot CLI dev team?
Thanks for the suggestion. Copilot CLI can now render images inline in supported terminals using the Kitty graphics protocol: this was added as an experimental feature in v1.0.64 and has been on by default since v1.0.97 (turn it off with /settings inlineImages false). If you specifically need SVG files rendered as images, please open a new issue for that so we can track it separately.
Triaged as part of a Copilot SDK backlog review, with help from GitHub Copilot.
