TensorFlow's xlogy returned the right value at x = 0 and the wrong gradient. The existing test expected that wrong answer. My fix changed the derivative and the test that had kept it looking correct. Read the story · Merged patch
My open-source work is in MLE & AI Engineering: ML framework correctness, LLM inference, retrieval pipelines, and MCP tools. I tend to stay with a bug until I can explain why the original code looked reasonable.

Have a reproducible Python backend or AI integration failure? Enquire about a US$150 diagnostic pilot for one failing path in one component, capped at two hours of total work, including setup, reproduction, investigation, independent review, report and handoff. You receive reproduction evidence or documented attempts, findings and a bounded repair recommendation. The cause may remain inconclusive. A code fix is scoped and quoted separately.
Email Jason Ji with the expected behaviour, actual failure and dependency versions. Please leave out secrets, private code, logs and customer data. Before work, we agree the scope, acceptance and refund terms, payment, and permitted AI use, including any external processing of code or data.
The retry skipped the document that failed. Swiftide wrote its cache entry before embedding and storage finished. A failed document could then be skipped on every retry. Moving the write meant working out when a document was complete, even after chunking and filtered errors. Read the story · Merged patch
One MCP call finished. Another lost its database session. Concurrent async tools in Apache Superset shared a session; one call's cleanup could detach another call's objects. I isolated sessions per invocation while preserving the default scope elsewhere. Merged patch and regression tests

| OGX | Close upstream inference streams when consumers disconnect or abandon responses, including the maintainer's context-handling fix. #6506 |
| Swiftide | Track processing counts, per-model token usage, and pipeline timing. #1038 |
| NVIDIA NVCF | Inventory model and dataset artifacts in a Function-to-Task reference pipeline, with deterministic hashing and bounded polling. #457 |
- Celery: The socket race started in a destructor. Following result cleanup into a shared Redis socket led to a reentrant lock, with callback and fork behavior to account for. Patch
- Apache Airflow: A late success sent Airflow down the failure path. One missing state in a scheduler guard, and a regression that keeps the exception narrow. Patch
- rqlite: preserve snapshot ordering when the wall clock moves backwards. #2812
- aiohttp: fix a connector shutdown race involving DNS lookups. #12787
