Context
The Release Please-generated v0.2.0 tag was created before the formatter fix reached main. Its Maven workflow failed in the build step and published no packages. The formatter fix is green on main, but its squash commit retained a
style:subject, so Release Please correctly found no user-facing commit.Change
This intentionally empty, signed conventional
fix:commit gives Release Please a normal patch-release signal without moving/deleting the existing tag or manually selecting a version.Verification
