The Engineering workflow migration replaced the original LLM/Library/ASCENT/Aitia loop with a different capture-preparation view. Restore its seven subjects, full original wording and ten feedback associations. Keep the current capture-blocked state as a footnote instead of replacing the story.

The source now declares a Question-led explanation: purpose, a compact responsibility diagram, investigation and evidence, knowledge evolution and operational feedback. Model-bound narrative parts replace repeated large node boxes. Existing SVG headings, ELK, sketchbook theme and explicit vector surfaces are reused; no new renderer or layout solver is added. Color, captions, reading groups and content stay in D2 declarations.

GitHub raw SVG applies a CSP that blocks the embedded typeface. README displays the renderer's hand-drawn PNG while retaining the SVG download. Both formats retain the complete explanation and source associations. The actual generator enforces the Case's 12px minimum text; the current export measures 13px. This is a readability check, not aesthetic approval.

Validation:

  • Typecheck, 45 unit tests, 36 Playwright browser tests with two workers and 6 example tests pass locally.
  • Regression checks preserve the original seven subject descriptions and ten relationship labels, verify the actual PNG/source fingerprints and observed content, and reject unknown references and hidden narrative relationships.
  • Official REUSE passes with 727/727 files; LGPL-2.1-or-later and OFL-1.1 are the only used licenses.
  • Updated overview SVG/JSON artifacts carry fresh program/source bindings; shared-program footprint changes explain the additional metadata refreshes.
  • Linux/macOS exact-head CI runs on this PR with existing limits.

This draft is for visual review after the rejected wide-flow and repeated-node versions. It does not claim human aesthetic acceptance and does not merge into main.
