Release commit for Hex v2.6.0, steps 1 to 5 of RELEASE.md. It removes
-devfrom the version, dates the changelog 23 October 2026, refreshes the CA bundle from NSS (the certificates are unchanged, only the date line differs), and builds the Elixir 1.20 archives on Elixir 1.20.4 with OTP 27.3.4.19, 28.5.0.8 and 29.1.2, the images Hex 2.5.4 was built with.The v2.6.0 changelog section now describes what changed since Hex 2.5. It adds the entries main was missing, such as reproducible builds,
:executables,:secret_scan, the organization 2FA prompt,mix hex.audit --policyand the new policy overrides, and drops the two unpack fixes that already shipped in Hex 2.5.2. The deadline for user keys with repository permissions is 21 January 2027, 90 days after the release.
