Prepare the authorized weekly patch release, react-viewer 3.2.6, by updating package and lockfile version metadata. Includes caption centering (#242), reliable close-overlay cleanup (#243), owned portal-container cleanup (#245), and usage examples (#244), plus the already merged development security maintenance.
npm run verifypassed with all 50 tests, lint, library/demo/SSR builds, package-export and hydration checks, multipart upload, both critical audits, and the 14-file package dry run. Runtime changes were independently regression-tested in Chrome 149. Publication and GitHub Release creation follow green Node 22/24 CI; the release triggers the existing Pages deployment workflow.
