…74 The merge took main's checkout and install, so a release's build used main's docs and ISLP from source. Back: the tag's checkout, ISLP==X.Y.Z from PyPI (with uv), rpy2 filtered from an old tag's requirements, and the release builds deploy from any branch (dev/ only from main). Summary
docs/make_notebooks.py: runs the lab (Ch06) in a uv virtual environment (uv venv,uv pip install, thenjupyter nbconvertfrom that environment) instead of a conda environment. The default--pythongoes from 3.10 to 3.12, since ISLP requires ≥3.11.build_docs.yml:astral-sh/setup-uvanduv pip installinstead ofsetup-pythonand pip;libtirpc-dev;rpy2is out ofdocs/requirements.txt. No docs page or lab runs R: I checked the code cells of the labs at the pinned submodule.Test
Run 40557052093 on this branch: the build passed, and installing took 30 s instead of 1m50s.
